I came upon this street artist just south of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. I found a dichotomy between the lengths taken by one of the world's most prestigious museums to preserve its collections and its sidewalk, imbued with this artist's glimpse of the Renaissance, that would, for all effort and talent, wash away with the heavy rains of fall.
