The exhibition of ourselves in pursuit of identity is one in a fluid trilogy witnessed in my subjects here: exhibition, dissemination, approval. Illustrative of society’s preoccupation with itself, these subjects were so engaged in their own image that it became clear my presence would remain unknown to them as long as they were looking at themselves (ergo, lotus eaters).
