This photograph examines diversity of voice, both nuanced and amplified. Seemingly a consequence of environment, the distinction within city voices has become endemic to survival. The nonchalance of this non-binary subject is illustrative of the shift in societal attitude towards gender fluidity. At the precipice of convention and discord, a child born of marginalized communities and fed on co-opted ideals walks into the future.
